To qualify for the position, you must have a master degree (social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, special education), at least one year of clinical experience (providing behavioral health services to children or adolescents with mental health diagnosis), and be licensed or licensure-eligible. Applicant must be available to work flexible scheduling including afternoon, evening, and weekends.

Counselors
Counselors make a difference in the lives of children by helping them stay at school and function better at home and in the community.They work with at-risk children in day treatment program. Program participants have significant mental health and behavioral issues. Counselors are assigned to school-based, after-school, and/or summer programs.
Responsibilities for this position include

Mental Health Skill Building Specialists prevent institutionalization and repetitive inpatient stays of adult clients through the development and implementation of flexible client-oriented programs designed to assist the client in living an active and productive life within their community.
