Parent Education

Therapeutic counselors work with the parent(s) to develop and implement a plan to address stressors that are negatively impacting the family. The counselor helps the parents learn new skills (parenting, budgeting, anger management and coping skills) and coaches them on how to apply those skills to activities of daily living and find and use needed community resources.
