Home-Based Counseling is provided to children and/or families that are experiencing severe to moderate conflicts in the home, school, or community and/or with multiple and overlapping diagnostic, environmental or other issues but who do not meet the criteria for Intensive in home services or need a reduced level of need but something more intensive than just outpatient therapy services. Includes families of children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect and/or are at risk of being removed from the home or are being transitioned home from an out-of-home placement; or have specialized needs such as emotional, medical, cognitive and or behavioral issues that place the individual at risk of being removed.
