At Strategic, we provide immediate attention to individuals who are at risk of injury to themselves or others. We work with indivuduals in their own environment to help stabilize the situation and prevent
unnecessary placement. We collaborate with other professionals and help identify other resources/services needed to maintain stability. We strive to preserve and maintain safety in of individuals in their homes, families and communities.
Service components for crisis services:

Recovery-oriented and Trauma-informed

Developmentally appropriate provision of services

Screening for suicidal or homicidal risk; integrating the Zero Suicide/Suicide Safer Care principles

Utilizes a sensitive approach to the individuals cultural identity and demonstrates respect for their lived experiences and preferences
in participating in care

Services provided in the community where the individual lives, works, participates in services or
socializes. (schools, homes, places of employment, education, or community settings)

On site immedate de-escalation and interventions of presenting emotional or behavioral symptoms

Brief therapeutic and life skills interventions

Engaging natural support system to strengthen the individual’s participation and engagement

Coordination with the Crisis Hotline Service and other community support entities

Linkage and referral to ongoing services, supports and resources as appropriate and least restrictive level of care including
community stabilization
